Cabo With the Whole Crew: A Stress-Free Plan for Big Groups

Last Updated on August 26, 2026

A Cabo trip with a large group becomes much easier when transportation is included in the itinerary from the start.

Before anyone lands, collect three things: every flight number, the full passenger and luggage count, and the schedule for the days that require transportation. That gives our VIP Transportation Los Cabos team the information needed to match arrivals, vehicles, hotels, dinners, events, and departure rides.

Start With One Group Transportation Plan

If everyone lands at the same time, a coordinated airport pickup may be the simplest option.

If guests arrive on different flights, split the group by arrival time instead of making the first guests wait several hours for the last flight. Each smaller group should have one contact person with the reservation details and VIP Transportation Los Cabos contact information.

Send our team the flight list in advance. We monitor arrival information and can connect each pickup to the correct flight.

The same idea works for departure day. Guests leaving at different times may need separate hotel pickups rather than a single ride for the full group.

Pick the Vehicle for the People and the Bags

Passenger count is the starting point. Luggage matters just as much.

Our current VIP Transportation Los Cabos fleet includes:

  • Minivan: up to 5 passengers
  • Suburban: up to 6 passengers
  • Van: up to 8 passengers
  • Limousine: up to 11 passengers
  • Sprinter: up to 15 passengers
  • Luxury Bus: up to 46 passengers

More than one vehicle can be booked for the same group.

For a group of 30, a Luxury Bus may make sense. A group with different hotel destinations or flight times may work better with several vehicles. A group carrying golf clubs, strollers, large suitcases, or event equipment should send those details before booking so our team can review the required space.

Do not choose the vehicle from headcount alone. Confirm the passenger count, luggage count, large items, and assigned vehicle before the trip.

Make SJD Arrival Easy for Everyone

A big group should not be searching for several drivers after clearing customs.

For international arrivals at SJD, guests should fully exit the terminal and follow the official VIP Transportation Los Cabos meeting instructions. Our greeter waits outside with the VIP Transportation Los Cabos sign and connects the group to the assigned vehicle(s).

Give each arrival group the meeting instructions before the flight. Pick one person per vehicle to keep the phone on and communicate with our team if baggage, customs, or a flight delay changes the timing.

That one contact person can save a group chat full of messages at the airport.

Plan Rides for the Rest of the Trip

Airport transportation is only one part of a group itinerary.

A Cabo week may include a welcome dinner, wedding event, golf day, marina departure, restaurant reservation, birthday dinner, nightlife, or a day trip. Trying to arrange several cars at the last minute can split the group and create delays.

Send those plans to our team ahead of time. Include pickup location, destination, preferred pickup time, passenger count, and return plan.

For grocery stops or other requested stops, ask before arrival so the stop can be reviewed as part of the route.

A Real Group Experience

Our guest Franz H. traveled to Los Cabos with a family group of 16 and arranged two limousines with VIP Transportation Los Cabos.

He shared that our greeter and both vehicles were ready when the family came outside the airport. For the return trip, both limousines arrived at the hotel at the same time. He thanked Carly Rojas for coordinating pickups and drop-offs, including a last-minute flight change for one member of the group.

That experience points to the part of group travel that matters most: everyone does not need to have the same schedule. The transportation plan needs to account for the differences.

Keep the Cabo Itinerary Simple

Before the group flies, send VIP Transportation Los Cabos the flight list, passenger and luggage counts, hotel or villa address, planned outings, special equipment, departure flights, and one main contact for each pickup.

Then confirm the vehicle plan and pickup times.

One transportation plan means fewer last-minute decisions for the person organizing the trip and more time for the group to enjoy Cabo together.

Cabo Arrival Playbook: Save This Before You Fly

Last Updated on August 26, 2026

Save this before your flight to Los Cabos!
Once you land at SJD, a few simple actions can get you from the terminal to your private vehicle without wasting time or wondering where to go.

With VIP Transportation Los Cabos, our team uses your reservation and flight information to prepare for your arrival. Here is the playbook we want our guests to have ready on their phones.

1. Arrival Steps: What to Do After Landing

For an international arrival, the sequence is simple:

  1. Go through immigration.
  2. Collect your luggage.
  3. Pass through customs.
  4. Fully exit the airport building.
  5. Follow your VIP Transportation Los Cabos meeting instructions.

Do not stop with transportation sellers inside the terminal or give your transportation voucher to someone asking to verify it. Our airport representative waits outside.

Before flying, keep your reservation name, airline, flight number, hotel or villa, and arrival instructions easy to access on your phone. Our team follows flight information, so the correct flight number helps us prepare for your actual arrival.

If your flight is delayed, we track the change and coordinate the pickup around the updated arrival information.

2. Meeting Point: Look for Our VIP Sign Outside

For international arrivals at Terminal 2, walk through the GROUP ARRIVAL EXIT and head to Umbrella #5.

Look for our representative holding the VIP Transportation Los Cabos sign.

For Terminal 1 domestic arrivals, use the group exit on the right side and look outside for the sign with your name or the VIP Transportation Los Cabos logo.

Stay in the official pickup area if you do not see us immediately. Moving to another part of the airport can make it harder for our team and your driver to find you.

This meeting process is something our guests recognize in their reviews. One of our guests, CFoxLav, shared that our drivers were easy to find at the airport and described the vehicles as new and clean.

Once we connect with you, our team guides you to the vehicle assigned to your reservation.

3. What to Text Us if You Need Help

Your flight may have landed, but baggage claim or customs can still take time.

If you are delayed inside the airport, cannot locate our representative, or need to update us, send a short message. If your reservation includes a direct driver contact, use it. If not, contact our VIP Transportation Los Cabos team.

A useful message looks like this:

“Hi, this is [Name], reservation for flight [Flight Number]. We have landed and are currently [waiting for luggage / clearing customs / outside at Umbrella #5].”

If you are already outside, add a quick description of where you are standing.

Keep your phone on and reachable after landing. A short update helps our team know what is happening after the plane reaches SJD.

4. Want a Stop Before the Hotel? Request It Ahead of Time

Heading to a villa, Airbnb, or resort and want groceries before check-in?

VIP Transportation Los Cabos can arrange an extra stop when requested in advance. Our published grocery-stop guide lists options such as Chedraui Selecto and Fresko La Comer, with a typical stop lasting about 30 minutes.

Store options, stop time, route, and price should be confirmed with our team when you book or when you add the request to an existing reservation.

Tell us what you need before arrival. That gives us the chance to review the route and add the stop to your transportation plan before your driver picks you up.

5. Book Before You Fly

The easiest SJD arrival starts before the plane takes off.

Book your VIP Transportation Los Cabos ride with the correct flight information, destination, passenger count, luggage details, and any requests such as a grocery stop, child seat, pet-friendly ride, or special luggage.

Then save your arrival instructions and our contact information on your phone.

When you land: clear the airport, walk outside, find our VIP Transportation Los Cabos sign, and meet your private ride.
